Lord Strengthen Your People

Ephesians 6:11-18 (NIV) Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers,  a gainst the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiri t ual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  T herefore put on the full armor of God, so   that when the day of   evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done   everything, to stand. S t and   firm th e n, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteou s ness   in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that   comes fr o m   t h e g o spel of  p eace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of  f ai t h , with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Matthew 6:5-13 (NIV) "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
